Gel refill

A refill is the technique used to maintain and renew a set after 3-4 weeks: the previous colour and the excess gel are removed, then the natural nail is covered again and reinforced with high-quality products, creating a perfect base for a new single colour or design.

Gel refill

How it's done

  1. 01A finished refill, in red chrome: the same set as three or four weeks earlier, renewed rather than rebuilt from scratch.
  2. 02The existing coverage is filed back and the regrowth zone rebalanced, nail by nail: this is the step that keeps the structure thin and stops product building up visit after visit.
  3. 03The same appointment at the end: the structure rebuilt over the new growth and a glossy nude laid on, for a set that starts over without being removed.
  4. 04And in pearl ombré, at another appointment: the colour changes with every refill, the structure stays the same and keeps growing out healthy.

Questions

Can I get a refill on a set done elsewhere?
Yes, after an assessment: if the structure cannot be saved I remove it and build a new set.
